Although I have lived in Broward County for over thirty years, my affection for both nature and photography has been a lifelong relationship. As a young adult, I helped form an Audubon Society chapter in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It was then that I purchased the first of many 35mm cameras and started taking, developing, and printing black and white images. Since then, my love affair with both nature and photography not only endured, it has blossomed ... in glorious color!
I was a founding member of The North American Nature Photography Association and also currently belong to The National Audubon Society, The Moringa Garden Circle, The Broward County Bromeliad Society, and The Broward Chapter of The North American Butterfly Association.
Accomplishments:
- Winning The Great American Photography Weekend Photo Contest in Fort Meyers, FL and also
being selected the contest's "OVERALL WINNER" for 1994.
- Winning the blue ribbon at Sanibel Island's annual J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Photo
Contest.
- My photographs have appeared in "Outdoor Photographer", "Florida Gardening", and Sanibel's
"Island Scene" magazine.
I hope you enjoy these samples of my work and hope to see you at one of the shows listed on the Upcoming Events page.
Thank you for stopping by.
